Hey, I'm Nola!
I'm an aspiring actor and voice actor located in Los Angeles, CA.
I'm originally from Northern California, and ever since I got the lead role in my high school production of
Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, I knew that acting was my calling.
But as the salutatorian of my class, I was so close to going to a military academy
(USAFA, with my twin sister, and my older brother).
Why trade a full scholarship to a prestigious academy, with a guaranteed career I can have for the next 20 years
for something so uncertain and daunting as acting?
But I knew that if I didn't pursue my dream, I would one day look back and think, "What if I were braver?"
So (literally) two days before my Senatorial interview, I decided that being a military officer wasn't for me.
So here I am, a UCLA 2016 Graduate, with a degree in English, and a minor in Theater,
pursuing the dream that I might become a regular on a television series,
or voice a character on a show I enjoy, or sing in an animated musical.
And after I've accomplished those things, then I can dream of even bigger things.
My mother raised me to be faithful and ambitious- to never settle for "normal" or "average".
So that's what I'll do.
Here's to the marathon of a lifetime. See you at the top.
*****
(P.S. Fun Fact: If you're wondering about my ethnicity, I'm half Caucasian/Chinese)
